well, the good news is that you are not alone. You might be surprised to know that i too can relate to that feeling? you know, that feeling when you finally say enough is enough, , and you’ve reached the point of being sick and tired of being sick and tired?
now you are probably thinking, yeah right look at you, you can practically be on the cover of a fitness magazine. This is true, however you are still missing a key piece of the puzzle to the story. Keep on reading and you will come to discover how i went from faking fitness to becoming the real deal.

you don’t have to be overweight if you don t want to be. This belief comes from my extensive fitness background. I am a certified personal trainer and have been working out since i was 8 years old. As a child, i used to be amazed by the physically imposing cartoon characters like conan, and he-man. These guys were my heroes; they seemed to attract popularity and pretty girls.
naturally as a young boy, i wanted to be like them. Because of this i’ve always been conscious of my physique and done everything possible to always have a fit body.
at the tender age of 8 years old i was doing crunches with a 25lbs dumbbell on my stomach along with push-ups and bicep curls.
over the years, this has helped me to understand the certain way you must think in order to live a fit lifestyle. And it really takes a small shift in how you think about fitness to achieve this.
now notice how i only say that i was fit. In saying this, i mean, i was only fit. And you may be asking yourself right now, well what s wrong with being fit?
my answer to that is nothing, its great to be fit, but if there is no health then fitness is just an outside accessory.
there are so many people out there who are physically fit but not healthy at all. You can be healthy and not be physically fit and still enjoy a great quality of life. However, being fit but not healthy is a recipe for long term disaster. It s a mask, a deceptive appearance of health on the outside. Here is the other part of the story which you will want to pay closer attention to.
despite all those years of displaying a fit body on the outside, on the inside i was living an entirely different story. This had nothing to do with my nutrition and everything to do with my emotions and state of mind.
just like you, i wanted to be healthy. Just like you, i wanted to be confident and have a high self-esteem. Just like you, i wanted to have peace of mind. And just like you, i wanted to live a fulfilling fitness lifestyle. I was walking around aimlessly as a troubled and confused soul. I was like the leaf which after leaving its branch is violently tossed here and there, having no sense of direction.
but even in the case of the leaf, it still has a purpose in that it will eventually land on the ground to become compost for fertile soil. I on the other hand was lost. I was radiating with negativity which caused me to develop deep roots of anger and depression.
not to mention my social life was dismal. This continued for years until three years ago when a friend invited me to a three day silent meditation camp. This was my break it was at this retreat where i came to discover the wonderful treasure which is the human mind.
since the camp, i have been diligently studying, practicing and applying the principles of mind and this has helped me to develop the most ideal of health and fitness i have always wanted.
i am so happy and grateful to be able to say now that i haven t experienced any kind of sickness in over 3 years.
this might come as a shock for some of you, some of you might even doubt the accuracy of this statement, but this is the case. I haven’t been sick in over 3 years not even a cold.
this is because through diligent study and application of mind and the laws of the universe, i have come to understand that sickness is a result of ignorance. The truth is that god is of health and life. And since god is omnipresent then the power of god flows through one all the time.
